Last night I had the most horrible dream. I was lost in a school and ended up in the kitchen. There was a woman there and I asked her how to get outside.She points at a door and I go through it and I am trapped in a tiny closet with all this stuff blocking the door. I scream and struggle and finally get back into the kitchen. There is a door directly opposite so I go through it and I’m outside. There are craft tables set out and we are divided into groups by age. I am then seated with 5 people that I do not know, have nothing in common with and they ignore me. Everyone else gets right to work on their craft project and I am lost. I don’t know where the supplies are and I don’t know what I am supposed to be making.  The only thing any of them will tell me is that I need to check my mail box. So I start searching the wall of “mail” boxes for mine. I can’t find it and I don’t know how they have them organized but it isn’t alphabetical. So I am frantically searching for my box and when I finally find it everyone else has packed up in cars and left. So I am all alone watching everyone else leave and I have no clue where I am or where I am supposed to be going or what I am supposed to do when I get there.

This is perfectly fitting with my life at the moment. I failed my lab final in Anatomy last night. Failed it quite spectacularly. If it weren’t so depressing I would laugh about just how well I failed it. It counts as 20 percent of my final grade. The final I have tomorrow night counts another 30 percent. I thought I was ready for the test last night. Now I just think I am ready to go find a job in a fast food restaurant. Of course I am not qualified for that either.

I had to come back and add there were big nasty spiders in the closet too. Every time I would move something to try to escape they would be behind something. I don’t normally have a problem with bugs but these were gross. All red and veiny and swollen and mean looking. You know how you can tell someone is just looking for a fight? That is what these spiders looked like.

Dreams and more often sleep are a big topic in this house. Other blogs I read have recently had sleep and dreams as a topic. So I thought I would talk about the dream I had last night during my all too short 4 hours of sleep.

I was a teenage boy in this dream. I had a really cool bedroom with an aquarium and a waterbed. My parents were someone who looked like Sarah P*lin (who was in fact a male to female transexual) and J*hn Lithgow. I love how completely crazy my dreams are. Except when they are horrible. This one was just a random day in the life kind of deal.

I had a really good one the other night where the only thing I did was kiss someone. Over and over and over. Doesn’t sound so impressive like that. It was a textual, physical, emotional fun time. It was so vivid and I wish I could describe it in a way to give just a tenth of just how good it made me feel. If only it were a premonition of things to come.

I have just enough time to go take a nap and I think I will.
