Same shit, different day.
I really need to start writing a post when I think of it. If I don’t then I forget half the things I want to say. I always think of things when I am nowhere near my computer. Maybe I should jot down stuff in a little notebook. Of course I would lose the notebook, the same way I lose lists.
I just finished watching The F*fth Element. I know I have seen it but it has been forever and I couldn’t remember liking it. I did like it this time though. That is my kind of movie. A little action, a little romance, a little comedy all in 2 hours or so.
I went shopping today and found shoes. The finding of shoes isn’t anything exciting but finding shoes that fit, are comfy, and not hideous to look at? That is miraculous!! Of course I didn’t go shopping for shoes. I just had to stop in for a minute while out pricing flooring. That is kind of related in a round about way. I was looking for something that gets walked on and ended up buying something that gets walked on. 
Just doesn’t get walked on by anyone besides me!
So tomorrow I will probably be going to yet another home improvement store to check out flooring. I had thought about that wood flooring that snaps together. Doesn’t seem like it would be all that hard to do. It can be kind of pricey though. I def. don’t want tile. That is a pain in the ass in an old house. My kitchen floor nearly killed me. That is why my bathroom hasn’t been redone either. I shudder every time I think about all that tile.
Isn’t home improvement fun? I got to try out my nail gun last week for the first time. I loved it! I bought it for my birthday last year and just now tried it out. Does anyone else’s family get everyone the same type of gift for Christmas? That is if you celebrate. A few years ago it was kitchen stuff, then guns, then power tools. Maybe we are just weird.
Yeah, I think everyone who isn’t a criminal should have a gun or two if they want one. I also believe in abortion and a woman’s (of any age) right to choose to have one without anyone knowing or influencing her. I think the morning after pill is a great thing. I think a woman should have cheap, easy access to the birth control method of her choosing. I guess I’m just a bitch like that. But god I’ll save that rant for another time and just go to bed right now. I’m in too good a mood to fuck it all up now.

How’d you get from guns to choice in one jump like that? Just asking, not being critical. Can’t have guns around here because I don’t trust my menfolk, but we do have a nice new floor, click-together laminate stuff we got from Ifloor.com…had a good experience with them. You can sort of scope out what looks good at the big box stores and then find something of higher quality for the same price on Ifloor. And tons of info there if you look at the “education” section.
I don’t even remeber how I got sidetracked. Probably someone said something to me in the middle of writing that post. Thanks for telling me about Ifloor. Will def. check that out. I guess you are feeling better?
